We offer programs for all ages and all abilities.
Gracie Barra Fleming Island Programs
We offer classes for kids and adults of all skill levels, for athletes and especially non-athletes, who want to learn how to defend themselves. If this is your first time, please arrive 15 minutes before schedule so that we may fit you in a loaner uniform if you do not have one.
GBK I
The GBK I program consists of developing our little warriors motor skills through instruction and games. In this program, children will learn coordinated movements in order to prepare them for more physically and mentally demanding classes. Furthermore, children get a taste of Self-Defense and most important, to know when to use it
GBK II
The GBK II program further develops children in the areas of strength and conditioning, sports Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Anti-Bullying. In this program, children have more freedom in regards to sparring with their partners under the supervision of an instructor. Additionally, we start to encourage kids to compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments to test themselves.
GB I
For adults and older teens. The practice of Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu allows individuals to understand fighting and self-defense principles through an exciting process that combines instruction, observation, practice, appropriate feedback, and live training. Its structure condenses an immense diversity of Jiu-Jitsu into core fundamental moves combined to optimize your learning.
